KUALA LUMPUR: Some 30 employees of Standard Chartered Bank here managed to bring the busy traffic along Jalan Bukit Bintang to a halt with their running – complete with fancy attire and police outriders.
The group dressed in a combination of business and sporting attire with matching bandannas started off with a short dance before being flagged off.

KL Marathon Aims To Attract 18,000 Runners This Year

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama)-- The organisers and sponsors of the Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon on June 27 are hoping to attract about 18,000 runners for this year's edition that offers total prize of US$100,000 (RM341,000).
Standard Chartered's chief executive officer, Osman Morad said the number of participants is expected to be more than the inaugural edition last year that saw about 12,000 participants."
