Calling all Runners,
The registration for the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2014 is now open. Remember that we will close once registrations are full so make sure you don't miss out. The first 50% of our registration quota will enjoy early bird rates, subsequent 40% will sign up under normal rates and the balance will have to sign up as the late period.
Y.B. Encik Khairy Jamaluddin, our Minister of Youth and Sports have already signed up and he will be running in the MSIG 10KM category. All of us here at Dirigo Events are honoured by your participation so Thank You for gracing our launch event. Good luck and train well, Y.B.!

During our launch event, Rainer, our long-time Project Director has committed to raise the level of competitiveness of our Marathon. We are increasing the prize purse for the Malaysian category of the Full Marathon and will reward up to 10th placing as opposed to top 5 in the previous years. We are also including a Malaysian Category in the Half Marathon category and will reward the top 5 Malaysian Half Marathon finishers as well. This year, the Malaysian winner of the Full Marathon will walk away with USD3,000.
To show how truly committed we are, Dirigo Events will also be organizing a series of try-outs in search of good Malaysian athletic talents to put through a training programme designed by Mark Williams to help get them on the podium.
