We are proud to announce that KLSCM 2023 has been awarded a Road Race label by World Athletics, making it the first event in Malaysia and only the 5th in South East Asia to be accorded this prestigious status. Thank you to all our stakeholders and the running community for making this possible!
This year also marks the 15th anniversary of KLSCM and we will be announcing a slew of new innovations to commemorate this auspicious milestone, chief of which will be the initiatives that correspond to the start of our journey to make KLSCM a more sustainable and environmentally friendly event. We look forward to your continued support in contributing to the success of these initiatives!
As a start in this direction, our new apparel partner, UK brand Pressio, promises that every garment they produce has been created with the most sustainable materials and technologies, including recycled yarns, non-dying & biodegradation, and complete with traceability.
We are also pleased to let you know that this year sees the return of the Kids Dash categories and we look forward to seeing the young ones compete!
Priority Registration
In acknowledgement of our loyal runners, along with the speedsters, we will be opening up Priority Registrations on 18 April 2023.
Eligibility criteria:
If you do not fulfil this criteria, but you recorded one of the finishing times listed above from an officially timed race on an AIMS certified course reflecting results between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2022, please submit a scanned copy of your race certificate along with your Full Name and IC/Passport Number to [email protected] by 17 April 2023. Proof of time must include all of the following:

Run For A Reason (RFAR)
Registrations for RFAR will also open on 18 April 2023 and ends on 31 July 2023 so if you’re keen to do your part in making a difference, you are welcome to contact our charity beneficiaries for your RFAR PIN codes to register your participation. This year, our charity beneficiaries are Standard Chartered’s Futuremakers, Hospis Malaysia, Dignity for Children Foundation, and Kechara Soup Kitchen.
